So maybe you're looking at this book, not having any clue who the author is, or why you should read his stuff. Well, let me just say that there's nothing that can make me miss a deadline, or cancel my evening plans faster than a new book from Dahners. Pick up any book of his, you absolutely cannot go wrong, though starting from the beginning of any series is probably best. Still, if you just pick up anywhere, you won't regret it. The only thing I don't care for about him is that he's unlikely to quit his dayjob, and start writing all the time. That's not to say that he couldn't do so if he wanted to, but just that it seems unlikely, since he's got a pretty sweet job already. So, poor folks like me have to wait a few months between books.
